FK Unud Hosts FK Unjani Delegation to Strengthen Tridharma Collaboration in Anti-Aging Medicine


The Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), officially hosted a comparative study visit from the Faculty of Medicine, Jenderal Achmad Yani University (FK Unjani). This strategic meeting took place in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Meeting Room, located on the 4th floor of the FK Unud building at the Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Monday, September 28, 2026.


The delegation from FK Unjani was led by the Dean of FK Unjani, Dr. Iis Inayati, dr., M.Kes., and was warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning at FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., M.P.H., Ph.D.


In his opening remarks, Prof. Ady outlined the faculty's profile, noting that it currently manages 38 study programs with a total of 5,600 students. This academic structure comprises 6 undergraduate programs, 4 professional programs, 3 master's programs, 1 doctoral program, 21 specialist programs, and 3 sub-specialist programs. "One of the pillars of excellence for the FK Unud Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences is its specialization or concentration in Anti-Aging Medicine, which stands as a pioneer in aesthetic-aging-based biomedical education in Indonesia," Prof. Ady added.


The event proceeded with a technical presentation on the curriculum delivered by the Coordinator of the FK Unud Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences, dr. I Gusti Made Gde Surya Chandra Trapika, S.Ked., M.Sc., Ph.D., alongside Dr. dr. Dewa Ayu Agus Sri Laksemi, S.Ked., M.Sc., with Ida Bagus Nyoman Putra Dwija, S.Si., M.Biotech., Ph.D., serving as the moderator.


Through this meeting, both institutions agreed to elevate their positive relationship into concrete collaboration within the framework of the *Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi* (the Three Pillars of Higher Education). Planned strategic collaborations include online faculty exchange programs (online guest lectures), biomedical research partnerships, and the development of inter-campus innovations in health education. The event concluded with an interactive discussion session, a group photo, and an exchange of mementos.
