FK Unud lecturer as a resource person in the seminar on Countering Radicalism, Intolerance, and Sexual Orientation Problems
The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University contributed to the seminar on Combating Radicalism, Intolerance, and Sexual Orientation Problems for police personnel at the Bali Police, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 08.30 Wita at the Bali Police Precision Building.
The speakers who attended this activity included:

2. dr. I Made Oka Negara, M.Biomed, FIAS (Faculty of Medicine Udayana)
3. I Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyaastuti, SH. MH (Faculty of Law Udayana)
4. Dr. Andreas Noah, SH, MH (FISIP Udayana)
5. Gede Indra Pramana, S.IP., M.A. (FISIP Udayana)
The speakers delivered their presentations alternately without pause, followed by around 150 participants, opened by Karo SDM Polda Bali, Kombes Pol Tri Bisono Soemiharso, S.I.K., M.H., who in his remarks reminded the need for police officers, especially young ones, to remember the spirit and soul of Pancasila and have a full national insight. And also ready to overcome the dangers of radicalism, intolerance, and also resistance to sexual orientation and LGBT issues.
Prof.Dr. I Ketut Rai Setiabudhi, MH started the topic "Countering Radicalism and Intolerance", Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyaastuti, SH. MH discusses "Prevention of Sexuality Cases", Dr. Andreas Noah, SH, MH discusses "National Insight" then Gede Indra Pramana, S.IP., M.A. discusses "Pancasila Ideology". While from the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University, Dr. I Made Oka Negara, M.Biomed, FIAS, discussed "Sexual Orientation, Sexual Diversity, and its Problems" as well as straightening out the wrong perceptions about sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, as well as the many who are anti-LGBT, along with responding and reacting to it humanistically and more correctly.
Finally, after an interesting discussion, the event was closed by handing over plaques and taking a group photo, and this event is planned to be held regularly for police officers at Polda Bali, especially those who are young.
