FK Unud received a visit from the Kobe Woman's University Team, Japan

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from Kobe Woman's University Japan in initiating a Scholarshipprogram for Certified Nurse Specialist in Dementia and Certified Nurse Specialist in Life Support for FK Unud Ners Graduates. The delegation team was led by Prof. Naemi Kajiwara who was received directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes at the Dean's Conference Room, FK Building, Denpasar. (31/7/2024)

The series of visit activities discussed opportunities for Ners FK Unud graduates to getScholarships in improving competence and part-time work opportunities for 1 year at Sumire-kai Medical Corporation's elderly care facility , Japan. On this occasion, Prof. Januartha expressed his appreciation for the arrival of the delegation team which could provide benefits to graduates so that after completing the program it was hoped that graduates could work in Japan or return to Indonesia to develop dementia care competencies.

Also present at the activity were the Kobe Woman's University Team Prof. Taeko Izumi, Prof. Ai Kimura, Prof. Kinuyo Matsumo, Prof. Hiroko Honda, while from FK Unud who attended this meeting included the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes, Coordinator of the Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program, Dr. Ns. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, MNS, Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes and Ns. Kadek Eka Swedarma, M.Kes.
