FK Unud Receives a Visit from SMA Global Tourism Anugrah Denpasar

Located in the I.G.A.G. Puthra room, Cakra Vidya Usadha (CVU) Building, the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from SMA Global Tourism Anugrah Denpasar. (11/4/2025). The SMA Global Tourism Anugrah Denpasar group was led by the Principal, namely Ni Made Yuliati, S.S., M.HUM., and Waka. Curriculum Ni Made Ayu Mega Trisnayani Putri, S.Si.

Received by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K)., together with the Coordinator of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit, Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, S.Ked., M.Si., accompanied by dr. I Gusti Made Gde Surya Chandra Trapika, S.Ked, M.Sc, Ph.D., and Dr. dr. Nila Wahyuni, M.Fis. The purpose of this visit was for the students of SMA Global Tourism Anugrah to get to know more about the Faculty of Medicine and also to increase the students' insight into the laboratories owned by the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

In his speech, Dr. Eka introduced a brief profile of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and gave his appreciation for choosing the Faculty of Medicine and especially the Biomedical Laboratory as a place for comparative study and hoped that the students of SMA Global Tourism Anugrah Denpasar could continue their higher education at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

The event continued with a brief presentation of the profile of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory delivered by Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, S.Ked., M.Sc., and continued with a visit to the labs under the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit. During this visit, the students were divided into four groups and took turns visiting and getting to know more about the Physiology Lab, Molecular Biology Lab, and Biomedical Laboratory.
