FK Unud Receives Comparative Study Visit from the Quality Assurance Agency of Malang State University
The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from the Quality Assurance Agency of Malang State University (UM) in the context of a comparative study related to the preparation of the accreditation of the Faculty of Medicine, State University of Malang. Led by the Secretary of the Quality Assurance Agency Dr. Syihabudhin, S.E., M.Si, the team from the Quality Assurance Agency of Malang State University was received directly by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning of FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) which took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, 3rd floor, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (8/11/2024)
The main agenda of this comparative study visit was to share information related to the preparation of accreditation at the Faculty of Medicine, State University of Malang (FK UM). Starting the visit, Dr. Eka as the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in his speech expressed his appreciation to the team from the Quality Assurance Agency of the State University of Malang for choosing the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a place for comparative study because the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is currently accredited as Excellent.
"Accreditation must be implemented to improve the quality of education at the national level and the demands of the IKU (Key Performance Indicators). With this comparative study, we hope to be able to oversee each institution in the future to become better," he said.
On this occasion, the team from the Quality Assurance Agency of the State University of Malang also invited Prof. Dr. Lia Yuliati, M. Pd., Joko Samodra, S. Kom., M.T., Dr. dr. Rias Gesang Kinanti, M.Kes., dr. Hartati Eko Wardani, M.Si. Med., dr. Karina Nilasari, Sp.PK., dr Hilma Tsurayya Iftitahurroza, S.Ked., MHPE., while from FK Unud who also attended the meeting included the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Medical Study Program. dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., and Dr. dr. I Wayan Juli Sumadi, S.Ked, Sp.PA, Subsp. M.S.(K)
The event continued with a discussion session on preparations related to accreditation and closed with an exchange of souvenirs between institutions.
