FK Unud Receives Comparative Study Visit from Universitas Pejuang Republik Indonesia, Makassar

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) received a visit from the Public Health Masters Study Program of Universitas Pejuang Republik Indonesia (UPRI) in the context of a comparative study on the learning process and governance of the Public Health Masters Study Program. The arrival of the UPRI Team led directly by the Chancellor of UPRI, namely M. Darwis Nur Tinri, S.Sos., M.Sc., was welcomed directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., at the meeting room of Prof. dr. I Ngoesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (6/9/2024)

In his remarks, Prof. Januartha expressed his appreciation for choosing FK Unud as a place for comparative study and also stated that comparative study is something that needs to be done in order to gain experience and see the advantages of other institutions so that they can be applied to their respective institutions.

"Comparative studies do need to be held to see the advantages and disadvantages of other institutions as a reference for developing better institutions. In addition, cooperation or collaboration with other institutions is one way to advance our institution, we hope that with this visit in the future we can initiate cooperation between FK Unud and Universitas Perjuangan Republik Indonesia." he said.

The event was then continued with a presentation by a representative from the Master of Public Health Study Program, FK Unud, Dr. Luh Seri Ani, SKM., M.Kes., about the management of the Master of Public Health Study Program and continued with a discussion session moderated by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D.

During this visit, UPRI officials who also attended included Vice Rector 1, Dr. H. Muhammmad Tahir Gani, S.Sos., M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Health UPRI, Erni Kadir, SKM., M.Ad., M.Kes., and Head of the Study Program of the Faculty of Health UPRI. Meanwhile, those who also welcomed from the FK Unud included the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., and representatives from the Master of Public Health Study Program.
