FK Unud Student Achieves MURI Record as "Medical Coassistance Student with the Most Scopus Indexed Scientific Journal Publications"
One of the students of the Doctor Professional Study Program (PSPD) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Bryan Gervais de Liyis, managed to record a proud national achievement by receiving an award from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) as "Medical Coassistance Student with the Most Scopus Indexed Scientific Journal Publications". This award was given on March 14, 2025 in Jakarta with Record No.12143/R.MURI/II/2025.
Bryan managed to publish 36 Scopus indexed scientific articles during his education. This achievement is a national record that has never been achieved by other medical coassistant students in Indonesia. MURI itself is an independent institution founded in 1990 by Dr. (H.C.) Jaya Suprana as a form of appreciation for the works and achievements of the nation's outstanding children in various fields, including science and research. MURI not only records records, but also motivates the young generation of Indonesia to continue to work, innovate, and inspire.
Bryan Gervais de Liyis' achievement is a concrete proof of the commitment of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University in creating graduates who not only excel in clinical services, but also in the field of scientific research. The Faculty of Medicine continues to support the academic development of its students through facilities and fostering scientific publications. Bryan's success also reflects the performance of Unud in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in terms of research. It is hoped that this achievement will not only be the pride of the institution, but also be able to inspire other students to continue to excel and make FK Unud a center of excellence for medical education in Indonesia.
