FK Unud Students Won 1st Place in the Selection of Outstanding Students of ISMKI National Level in 2024
Proud news came from Udayana University Faculty of Medicine students class of 2022 who participated in the selection of outstanding students (Pilmapres) of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) at the National Level. This achievement was achieved by I Komang Chandra Yogananda or familiarly called Yochan, who won 1st place. This proud achievement cannot be separated from the guidance of the supervisor, Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes, who always provides direction during the selection process.
Pilmapres ISMKI is an appreciation event for outstanding students throughout the Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia, which is expected to be a motivation for other students to achieve achievements and make their alma mater proud. The ISMKI Pilmapres selection was attended by various universities throughout Indonesia, with 10 finalists selected from various regions. The finalists came from Udayana University, University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Padjadjaran University, Tanjungpura University, Tarumanegara University, Lambung Mangkurat University, and Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
First place was won by I Komang Chandra Yogananda from Udayana University, second place by Brawijaya University, and third place by Gadjah Mada University. Udayana University also managed to send two delegates, namely I Komang Chandra Yogananda as 1st place and Ni Putu Rista Pradnya Dewi as one of the finalists.
The preliminary stage in this selection includes the selection of superior achievements and educational video submissions. The participants with the highest scores then proceeded to the final stage held on August 29-31, 2024 at Jenderal Achmad Yani University, Cimahi, West Java. In the final stage, participants took part in interview selection, case studies, scientific paper presentations, and project presentations.
