Fun Bike and Mangrove Planting in Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of BKFK

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a Fun Bike and Mangrove Planting at the Mangrove Arboretum on the Benoa Harbor highway in the context of the 60th Anniversary of the Family Board of Udayana University Medical Faculty (BKFK). This Fun Bike was attended by the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M. Eng, IPU, Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes, Director of Unud Hospital Prof. Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, MSi, Sp.MK (K), Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FK), Unud Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes who was accompanied by the Deputy Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Departments, Unit Coordinators, Educators and Education Personnel, students and alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The event started with cycling together from the Medical Faculty Unud Campus, Jalan PB Sudirman and ended at the Mangrove Arboretum where mangroves were planted.
The Fun Bike and Mangrove Planting event was opened by the Chancellor of Udayana University who in his speech said that the existence of the Faculty of Medicine was very important for Udayana University so that in the future it will always support whatever the activities of the Unud Medical Faculty are. Prof. Antara also expressed his gratitude for everything that has been done by FK Unud in order to advance the institution of Udayana University in the midst of society so that the existence of Udayana University as it is today cannot be separated from the contribution of FK Unud. And he also wished a happy birthday to the Family Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University which is 60 years old, best of luck and more success in the future.
The Dean of FK Unud said that the planting of mangroves was an effort to strengthen the fraternity of the academic community of the FK Unud family which no longer looked at positions, duties and functions, but all were the big family of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This activity also shows a sense of concern not only in the health sector, but also in other fields in this case showing concern for environmental sustainability by planting mangroves.
