Implementation of Community Service Cooperation Activities in collaboration with the Ubud District.

The Biomedical Science Masters Study Program, Ear Nose Throat Health Specialist Study Program, Head Neck Surgery, and Anesthesiology Specialist Study Program and Intensive Therapy held community service activities held at the Kertayasa Tourism Vocational School, Singakerta, Ubud Gianyar District. (19/11/2022)

In his remarks the Principal of the Kertayasa Tourism Vocational School expressed his appreciation and gratitude because the school he led had the opportunity to be chosen as the location for the activity, and hoped that the information provided would be useful for the students at his school.

Meanwhile, the Head of Ubud District, Ir. I Wayan Suwija, MM in his remarks said that this activity was a follow-up to the collaboration that had been established so far, and hoped that in the future more similar activities could be carried out in the Ubud District area.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, who was willing to attend and at the same time opened the service program in his remarks, emphasized that service is an obligation in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as a form of downstreaming research programs that can be utilized by the community.

This community service is carried out in the form of counseling with material on the use of natural materials for health delivered by Dr. dr. Ni Made Linawati, MSi, and the topic regarding Toxoplasma given by Dr. dr I Dewa Ayu Agus Sri Laksmi, MSc, both from the Masters Study Program in Biomedical Sciences. Meanwhile, the Ear Nose Throat Health Specialist Study Program, Head and Neck Surgery provides health services in the form of ENT examinations and ear cleaning to students at the Kertayasa Tourism Vocational School. Meanwhile, the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Study Program provides basic life support practices.

Also attending the event were the Secretary of the Ubud District, the Secretary of Singakerta Village, the UPIKS Coordinator, the Coordinator of the Biomedical Science Masters Study Program along with a Team of Lecturers and educational staff, Team of Lecturers of the Specialist Study Program in Ear Nose Throat Health Sciences, Head and Neck Surgery and Team of Lecturers in the Anesthesiology Specialist Study Program and Intensive Therapy and students
