Implementation Research (IR) Training

The Faculty of Medicine as a Regional Training Center for the eastern part of Indonesia together with the Center for Health Research, LPPM, Udayana University held an Implementation Research (IR) Training on 17-18 November 2021. The activity which was held at the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel was a collaboration with the Medical Center Tropics, FK-KMK, Gadjah Mada University, and supported by WHO-TDR.
This IR training aims to develop the capacity of individual and research institutions in conducting Implementation Research. Participants in the activity were academics from various cross-disciplinary fields of health and medicine by involving lecturers at PS SKPD, PS SKM, PS MIKM, PS Psychology, and PS SKPN FK Unud along with implementers from government agencies including the Bali Provincial Health Office, district health offices, office port health, and foundations engaged in the health sector.
The activity was opened by Deputy Dean 3 dr. I Md Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D, representing the Dean of FK Unud. The chairman of the activity committee is Dr. dr. I Wayan Gede Artawan Eka Putra, M.Epid, who was also the facilitator, together with dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, MPH, Ph.D, and Dr. Ni Ketut Sutiari, S.KM, M.Sc. This activity also presented the Director of the Center for Tropical Medicine, FK-KMK, UGM, dr. Riris Andono Ahmad, MPH, Ph.D as an external facilitator of the activity.
