Improve Competence in Cleft Lip Treatment, FK Unud Invites Professor of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan

The Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a hybrid Visiting Professor with the topic "The Protocol of Comprehensive Cleft Care" with the main location in the Prof. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. (17/5/2024)

Attended by lecturers, residents and undergraduate students who attended online and offline, this guest lecture presented Prof. Lun-Jou Lo, MD from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, moderated by Dr. Putu Trisna Utami SpBP-RE Subsp. K.M.(K), who is a specialist in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery at RSUD Bali Mandara. This guest lecture was organized to improve the competence of students and lecturers in dealing with cleft lip and palate cases, as well as opening opportunities for international collaboration and student exchange programs.

The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning representing the Dean, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K) who in his speech expressed his gratitude to Prof. Lun-Juo Lo for sharing his knowledge and experience in the field of cleft treatment. The visiting lecture event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Study Program Dr. dr. I Gst. Pt. Hendra Sanjaya, Sp.B, Sp.B.P.R.E, Subsp. L.B.L. (K).
