Improving Knowledge in the Field of Gastroentero Hepatology, FK Unud Organizes Denpasar Digestive Disease Day

Commemorating Digestive Disease Day 2024, the Gastro-Hepatology Division of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held the Denpasar Digestive Disease Day (4D) Meetings Bali with the theme "From A to Z of MAFLD: A Daylong Expedition to Decode the Complexities of Metabolic Liver Health". The event was held at Grha Prodia Denpasar Bali. (18/02/2024)


On this occasion, the event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K). This event was held to increase the knowledge and professionalism of doctors in the field of Gastroentero Hepatology to be able to provide comprehensive services. Various types of diseases are increasingly becoming health problems in Indonesia, one of which is diseases in the field of Gastroentero-Hepatology, so it takes an update of knowledge and competence for health workers to provide the best service to patients.


This 4D Meeting event is one of a series of BKFK celebrations in order to update our knowledge in addition to celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. It is hoped that this 4D meeting event can increase our awareness of various kinds of fatty liver diseases. 


The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Bali branch of PAPDI, Dr. dr. Wira Gotera, SpPD, K-EMD, FINASIM., Professors and staff of the Department / KSM of Internal Medicine FK Udayana University / RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah. There were 82 hybrid participants consisting of medical students, PPDS, general practitioners, and internal medicine specialists.
