Inauguration of Unud Hospital as a Covid-19 Vaccination Service Post

In a series of synergies between the Unud Medical Faculty/Unud Hospital and the Bali Provincial Government, today (4/3/2021) at the Lobby of Building 1 Udayana University Hospital, the Covid-19 Vaccination Service Post was inaugurated.
The opening of this vaccination service was held to serve the vaccination of the academic community of Udayana University and the surrounding community in order to increase the coverage of the Covid-19 vaccination in Bali.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Chief Executive
The Bali Province Covid-19 Task Force as well as the Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra, Head of the Bali Provincial Office dr. Ketut Suarjaya, MPPM., Unud Chancellor Prof.Dr.dr. AA Raka Sudewi, SpS (K), Chair of the Senate of Unud Prof.Dr.Ir. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta, M.Sc., Chair of the Unud Covid Task Force as well as Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof.Dr. IB Wyasa Putra, SH, M. Hum., Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K)., Director of Unud Hospital Prof.Dr.dr. DPG Purwa Samatra, Sp.S(K), and Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked., SpPK(K).
The Director of the Udayana University Hospital said that previously, the Udayana University Hospital had provided Covid-19 vaccinations for health workers. With the initiation from the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty, currently Udayana University Hospital has received 2500 doses of vaccine from the Health Service/Bali Provincial Government.
In his remarks, the Daily Chair of the Bali Province Covid-19 Task Force, Dewa Made Indra, appreciated the initiation from the Dean of FK Unud to open vaccine services for Udayana University Lecturers and Employees.
He hopes that the opening of the Covid-19 vaccination program service post will be a motivation and education for the community and the public regarding the vaccination program.
With the inauguration of the Unud Hospital as a Covid-19 vaccination service post, Udayana University Chancellor Prof. Dr. dr. AA Raka Sudewi, Sp.S(K) is committed to working together with the community to make the Covid-19 vaccination program a success.
Along with the inauguration of the Covid-19 Vaccination service post, the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) hopes that the existence of the Unud Hospital in the midst of the community can contribute and feel the benefits in efforts to solve the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Covid-19 vaccination program at Udayana University Hospital serves the entire Udayana University academic community and the general public. Currently there are 2,500 doses of vaccine and in the future there will be additional vaccines ready to be distributed to the public. Udayana University Hospital serves vaccines with a capacity of 100-200 people per day
