Increasing the Latest Knowledge of Epilepticus, the Department of Pediatrics Holds a Guest Lecture in Collaboration with Stanford University


Department of Child Health, FK Unud/RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah held a public lecture in collaboration with Stanford University on the topic Pediatric Emergency in Neurology Aspects: An Update.


This activity is a form of collaboration held by the Department of Child Health, FK Unud/RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah and Stanford University with the aim of increasing students' knowledge regarding the latest management of status epilepticus.


In this lecture Prof. Budi Wiryawan as Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Stanford University, School of Medicine presented material regarding updated management in pediatric status epilepticus, followed by Dr. Dr. I Nyoman Budi Hartawan, M.Sc, Sp.A(K) as teaching staff at RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah brought a case presentation to be reviewed together.


This event was hosted by Dr. Dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A(K) as moderator and attended by approximately 109 online participants. It is hoped that through this event, students' competence in managing status epilepticus will increase. It is also hoped that more collaboration can be carried out by the Department of Child Health, FK Unud/RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Engaged with various international institutions in the future.
