Increasing the Sense of Family, the Dean Visits the Elders of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

In a series of celebrations for the 61st anniversary of BKFK which falls in March 2023, Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., visited the elder dr. N. Wirya Duarsa, Sp.KK., and Prof. dr. I Dewa Putu Widjana, DAP&E, Sp. Park at his residence. (10/3/2023)

dr.N.Wirya Duarsa, Sp.KK is one of the elders who was also the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University for the period 1982-1989. During his service he also contributed to the establishment of the Dermatology and Venereology Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University in 1971 together with the Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology FK Airlangga University/ Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya , Prof. dr. Ibeni Ilias.

Overview of Prof. dr. I Dewa Putu Widjana, DAP&E, Sp. ParK, he was the Dean of FK Unud for the 2004-2008 period and when he was still active, he was a professor in the field of parasitology FK Unud. After retirement, he is currently still actively serving as Chancellor of Warmadewa University for the 2019-2023 period

On this occasion, Dr. Januartha also at the same time invited the elders to attend the BKFK peak event in order to maintain friendly relations and respect the services that had been given by the elders while serving at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

This visit was also attended by representatives from students to provide insight into the elders who have contributed to the development of the institution and to strengthen the ties between generations.

On this occasion, dr. Duarsa expressed his gratitude because Unud Faculty of Medicine still remembers and respects the elders and professors who have contributed to the institution, and advised the younger generation to always maintain and develop the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine institution.

While Prof. Wijana advised students to remain enthusiastic and serious while attending lectures, especially in the KKN program, because this program is an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and get to know the community directly.
