KOMPAK FK Unud Collaborates with Anyo Indonesia Foundation to Raise Awareness of Cancer in Children
The Cancer Awareness Student Community of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (KOMPAK FK Unud) together with Anyo Indonesia Foundation, held Anyo Gold Ribbon Configuration 2024. This activity is in the series of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month which was attended by 250 students of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. (4/10/2024)
In this activity, a video of the Gold Ribbon Configuration was made as a symbol of concern for childhood cancer, followed by education and sharing sessions by dr. Edi Setiawan Tehuteru Sp.A (K), MHA and dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Ketut Putra Widyana, Sp A (K) about an overview of cancer in children specifically Leukemia and Retinoblastoma.
On this occasion, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., in his remarks expressed his hope that this activity could increase awareness and support for the high incidence of cancer, especially in children and hoped that this activity could be held on an ongoing basis. Also present at the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., Chairman of BEM FK Unud, Chairman of the Cancer Care Student Community FK Unud, Founder and Chairman of the Anyo Indonesia Foundation.
