Meeting with the Bali Province Traditional Village Council

In order to socialize the Circular from the Bali Province Traditional Village Council, the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) accompanied by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Prof.Dr.dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked., SpPK(K) and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes received representatives from the Bali Prov. Traditional Village Council, namely the Secretary of Denpasar Pakraman Village AA Ngurah Sudiasa, Denpasar Pakraman Village Administrator Drs. Gede Oka Kuspada and Head of Pecalang Pakraman Village Denpasar, Wayan Karda.

The meeting which was held in the Dean's Meeting Room in order to ask the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to participate in socializing to students that demonstrations are not prohibited, but if carrying out demonstrations they must:

1. Comply with the decision letter of the Traditional Village Council (MDA) regarding the prevention of covid-19

2. Not anarchic, not disturbing/damaging public facilities because it really disturbs the peace of the Denpasar people

3. It's time to disperse in order to disperse in an orderly manner so as not to disturb other people

4. Join together to maintain order in Denpasar

On this occasion the Dean of Medical Faculty Unud also said that:

1. Does not prohibit students from expressing their aspirations, but the most important thing is to use the right aspiration channel

2. Students should not be anarchist or damage public facilities and state property

3. Students in channeling aspirations so that they continue to carry out health protocols do not let this pandemic period channel these aspirations to create new clusters and increase the number of COVID-19 cases

4. The hope is also for traditional villages to disseminate information to the community and jointly supervise the implementation of health protocols.

In addition, the traditional village is expected to participate in increasing the role of the family and the hamlet/banjar environment to jointly maintain public order, love the homeland, the nation and the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia.

The ultimate goal of this meeting is to increase the synergy between Higher Education Institutions and Traditional Villages to jointly maintain order in Denpasar.
