National Health Talkshow "Optimizing Healthcare Data Governance: Navigating Indonesia's Digital Health Transition"
In order to strengthen Health Data Governance in digital health transformation in Indonesia, the Indonesian Association of Public Health Experts (IAKMI) Bali Pengda in collaboration with the Udayana University FK Bachelor of Public Health Study Program (PSSKM FK Unud) and Transform Health Indonesia (THI) held a National Health Talkshow with the theme "Optimizing Healthcare Data Governance: Navigating Indonesia's Digital Health Transition" on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in a hybrid manner with the main location at the Puri Ayu Hotel in Denpasar.
The main topics discussed in this talk show were discussing the principles of health data governance in the digital era, the effectiveness of information systems in health program governance and good practices from BPJS Kesehatan digital technology. Moderated by Ni Made Dian Kurniasari, SKM, MPH (Chairperson of IAKMI Pengda Bali), this talk show presented 3 (three) speakers, namely:
1. Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, SKM, MDM (THI National Coordinator),
2. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suarjana, MPH (Head of Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, FK Unud)
3. dr. Joys Karman Nike Palupi, MMRS, AAK (Assistant Deputy Director of Health Service Insurance BPJS Kesehatan Regional XI).
Attended by the Dean of FK Unud Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and officially opened by the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Dr. dr. I Nyoman Gede Anom, M.Kes., this activity was attended by more than 150 participants from various elements and agencies, including policy makers, health service providers, health practitioners, health professional organizations, academics, health students, information technology activists and youth networks of health observers.
