Network Hospital Collaboration at Komodo Regional Hospital, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara


The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, accepted an invitation from the Director of Labuan Bajo Regional Hospital to see firsthand the hospital's readiness to accept independent senior residents of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program. This is in line with the spirit of FK Unud in an effort to participate in improving the quality and continuity of health services in remote areas.


The visitation of Komodo Regional Hospital was carried out on October 21-23, 2024 as well as the signing of the cooperation agreement. The Director of Komodo Regional Hospital, Dr. Maria Yosephina Melinda Gampar and the Head of the Health Office of West Manggarai Regency, NTT, Apt. Adrianus Ojo, S.Si

directly received the visitation team from FK Unud and in his remarks, he expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the FK Unud team to build cooperation to improve health services at Komodo Regional Hospital, especially the sending of independent senior residents. The event continued with the presentation of the Hospital profile and discussions related to the implementation of cooperation activities, as well as seeing firsthand the completeness of the RSUD facilities and infrastructure and the resident's residence.


The FK Unud visitation team was led by the Dean of FK UNUD, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, and accompanied by the Education Coordination Committee (Komkordik) of FK Unud/RSUP Prof. Ngoerah represented by Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A(K), Coordinator of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Dr. dr. Yenni Kandarini, Sp.PD, K-GH.
