Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program Students Successfully Become International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) 2024 Meeting Scholarship Awardees

Students (residents) of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) again achieved achievements in the international arena. The International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) 2024 Meeting Scholarship is a prestigious international event held in Toronto, Canada, on October 13-17, 2024, and attended by pediatric neurosurgeons from around the world.

This achievement was made by Dr. Kadek Dede Frisky Wiyanjana. After going through a selection held by ISPN for ISPN member candidates from developing countries, Dr. Dede also had the opportunity to present an oral poster entitled "Efficacies and Complications of Intraventricular Lavage versus External Ventricular Drainage in Pediatric Intraventricular Hemorrhage: A Meta-Analysis."

This achievement provides inspiration for Specialist Medical Education Participants (PPDS) at Udayana University to speak internationally. Hopefully it will continue to inspire and bring new innovations to the world of Indonesian medicine.
