Nursing Students of FK Unud Provide Nutrition Education for Child Growth and Development in Singakerta Village Ubud.


NUCLEUS (Nursing Udayana Caring People Around Us) is a community service activity under the auspices of the social service division of the Nursing Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (HMIK FK Unud). This year, NUCLEUS took the theme "Generasi Emas, Generasi Cerdas Wujudkan Indonesia Emas 2045". The first day of activities was held on August 11, 2024 at Banjar Tunon, Singakerta Village, Ubud District, Gianyar. The first day of NUCLEUS 2024 activities carried out community service activities such as free health checks (blood pressure and GAK) and child development checks.


The purpose of this activity is as a form of student contribution in doing community service which is certainly very beneficial for the surrounding community. This community service event was officially opened directly by the Secretary of Ubud District, I Made Raka Adyana, S.H, M.A.P and was also attended by other invitees, namely the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D, Head of Tunon Hamlet, LMFK, Head of HMIK, and BSO representatives. On this occasion, Mr. I Made Raka Adyana expressed his gratitude to the committee and lecturers for holding community service activities in Banjar Tunon. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that mothers will be more aware of the nutrition and development of children and the health conditions of their own mothers.
