Opening Ceremony of the 64th Faculty of Medicine Family Council (BKFK)
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held the opening ceremony of the 64th Faculty of Medicine Family Council (BKFK). This event took place in the Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Meeting Room, Fourth Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Jl. PB Sudirman, Denpasar, Bali. (January 29, 2026)
The opening ceremony of the 64th Faculty of Medicine Family Council (BKFK), led by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, began with a report from the Chair of the 64th BKFK Organizing Committee, Feivel Jethro Gobasa Sihombing Hutasoit. In his report, he stated that the 64th BKFK event would begin with the BKFK League, which would run until early March. This would be followed by community service and blood donation events in February, along with a fun run and alumni chat in early March. The committee chair requested full support from the entire academic community to participate in enlivening and promoting all activities of the 64th BKFK. Feivel also requested prayers and blessings for the successful and lively grand finale on March 6–8, 2026.
The event continued with remarks from the Chair of the 64th BKFK Steering Committee, Dr. dr. I Gusti Nyoman Darmaputra, Sp.DVE(K), FINSDV, FAADV., who emphasized the strategic role of bridging communication with senior alumni and successful figures so they can share knowledge at their alma mater. He expressed high hopes that the entire academic community, including students, lecturers, and PPDS participants, would actively participate and encourage their colleagues to enliven all activities, particularly the Fun Run and Community Service events.
The series of activities then continued with remarks from the Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM), Flezia Chandra Tarigan. In her remarks, she stated that the Faculty of Medicine Togetherness Month (BKFK) is a flagship program and a source of pride for the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. It is held annually to commemorate the anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, with the aim of fostering a sense of camaraderie and caring among the academic community.
In this event, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.O.T., Subsp. Onk. Ort. R (K)., expressed his hope that the 64th BKFK would have a positive impact on students, faculty, and the entire academic community through togetherness, synergy, and the involvement of all parties. He emphasized that the BKFK (Family Health Education Forum) is not only a celebration but also a forum for reflection and future development of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, through an Alumni Talk on March 2, 2026. The event was then officially opened with three gong strikes, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs of the Faculty, the Chair of the Organizing Committee and the Chair of the 64th BKFK Steering Committee, and the Chair of the Faculty's Student Executive Board (BEM).
The event was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., all Faculty of Medicine Study Program Coordinators, Administrative Coordinators, and Sub-Coordinators within the Faculty, as well as student organizations within the Faculty.
