Realizing Concern for the Community, FK Unud Provides Counseling and Health Services in Bengkala Village, Buleleng


The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) through the Thoracic Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Specialist Study Program carried out community service activities in Bengkala Village, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, on November 9, 2024. This activity is a real manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service, education, and research.


Together with the local community, led by the Coordinator of the Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Specialist Study Program, Dr. dr. Ketut Putu Yasa, Sp.B., Sp.BTKV, Subsp.VE (K), FICS., the Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Specialist students (residents) provided health services and education to improve the quality of life and health. The health services provided include checking blood sugar, blood pressure, ultrasound and screening for congenital heart disease. This program is expected to bring benefits and sustainability to the entire community of Bengkala Village.
