In commemoration of the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held an online prayer echo and RED PUTIH SENANDUNG.

The activity, which was attended by the entire Academic Community of Unud Medical Faculty and the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, was led by a team from the Children's Health Study Program, Sanglah Hospital, led by the Study Program Coordinator, dr. GAP Nilawati, Sp.A (K). MARS and Head of Dept. dr. Ida Bagus Gde Suparyatha, Sp.A (K).

The purpose of holding this event is to commemorate the 76th Indonesian Independence Day during the pandemic to stay strong.

The event began with remarks from the President Director of Sanglah Hospital, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes and continued with remarks from the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB.,SpOT(K) who also opened the event.

In his remarks, the Dean said that this anniversary commemoration was a turning point for self-reflection and self-evaluation, let us work hand in hand to fill this independence, to protect the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from various aspects of life by implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as possible.

"I hope that we can remain united in protecting the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, filling academic activities in the implementation of development with humanitarian activities that maintain the health of the people of Bali and Indonesia in general." He said in his speech.

This virtual event is filled with various creations ranging from;

1. Video showing the spirit of independence from PS. Neurology Specialist, PS. Specialist in Pediatrics, PS. Internal Medicine Specialist, PS. Psychiatric Specialist, PS. ENT-KL and PS specialist. Dermatology & Venereology FK Unud.

2. Poetry reading by Prof. Dr. dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, SpAnd, FAACS and dr. Arya WS Duarsa, MM.

3. Singing the 17 August song with conductor Dr.dr Ketut Dewi Kumarawati Sp.A (K)

4. Singing the Red and White Flag Song

By holding this event, hopefully it can foster a spirit of struggle and nationalism among the Academic Community of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
