Seminar and Workshop on Preparing Scientific Writing (SEPSIS) 2024 Hippocrates Scientific Group, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

The Semi-Autonomous Body for the Hippocrates Scientific Group, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University again held seminars and workshops related to the preparation of scientific papers which were carried out in a hybrid manner with the main location located in Dr. A. A. Djelantik, Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Building. (30/3/2024)

This activity was held with the aim of facilitating the younger generation in increasing and sharpening their knowledge regarding writing scientific papers both in terms of writing format and searching for good and correct references.

This year, SEPSIS carries the theme "Unveiling Horizons, Achieving Excellence in Scientific Writing" by presenting 4 speakers who are competent in their fields, namely:

1. dr. Putu Andrie Setiawan, S.Ked who presented the topic "Methods of Researching"

2. dr. Gede Wirata, S. Ked, M. Biomed who presented the topic "Get to Know about Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis, and Publishing Work"

3. dr. Ida Bagus Amertha Putra Manuaba, M. Biomed, Ph.D who delivered the Mendeley Workshop

4. Ms. I Gusti Ngurah Juniartha, S.Kep., M.Kep who brought SPSS Worshop

The opening of SEPSIS 2024 was attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D. In his speech, Prof. Ady said that learning to write from an early age is very good for the long term and writing papers has an important role in the future and it is hoped that from now on students can learn and practice soft skills related to writing scientific papers.

This activity was also attended by the Supervisor of KIH FK Unud, Dr. Dr. Urged Made Wihandani, M.Kes, Student Executive Board (BEM) of FK Unud, represented by sister Ni Luh Linda Lidyawati as General Secretary, Chair of KIH FK Unud, David Christhoper Tjandra, as well as all the heads of HM, LMFK, and BSO within FK Unud .
