Signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Medicine Unud and Lembata Regency

In connection with the collaboration between Udayana University and the Lembata Regency Government regarding the sending of general practitioners to continue their education to the Specialist level, today (29/4/2021) the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) accompanied by the Vice Deans received a visit from Lembata Regency Government Officials in the Prof. Meeting Room. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah in the context of Signing the Extension of the Cooperation Agreement.
The group was led directly by the Regent of Lembata Eliaser Yentji Sunur, ST., MT also accompanied by the Director of Lewoleba Hospital, dr. Bernardus Joseph Beda, and several related officials.
Also attending this event were leaders at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Udayana including the Coordinators of related Study Programs, Administrative Coordinators, and Coordinators of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit.
In his remarks, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, MSi., SpMK(K) expressed his appreciation to Lembata Regency for being so enthusiastic about improving the quality of human resources in the health sector in Lembata Regency.
During this visit, the Lembata Regency government stated that it was willing to facilitate the sons of the Lembata region who wished to continue their education as Specialist Doctors to the Faculty of Medicine, Unud and the Lembata Government also wanted to continue the PKS with PSSpesialis Internal Medicine, PSSpesialis Pediatrics, PSSpesialis Radiology and PSSpesialis Clinical Pathology.
Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB.,SpOT(K) on this occasion said "the selection of admissions will be carried out strictly so that the best sons and daughters of the region are expected to become leaders and later be able to develop their region." he said.
The event continued with the signing of the Cooperation Paper and ended with the delivery of souvenirs and a group photo.
