Socialization and Advocacy of Technical Guidelines and Monitoring System for Health Protocols

In connection with the memorandum of understanding between the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (KMKP) FK Unud and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to strengthen the supervision of health protocol compliance, today (25/8/2021) the Department of KMKP FK Unud held a Socialization and Advocacy of Instructions Technical and Health Protocol Monitoring System hybrid online and offline directly from Inna Bali Heritage.

The event began with a report from the Chairman of the Committee, dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D., followed by remarks from the Representative of the Directorate of Occupational Health and Sports of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and remarks from the Dean of Medical Faculty Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K).

In his remarks, the Dean said "Health protocol is a warlord in a pandemic because until now we do not have a Golden standard, therefore prevention efforts are important that we must do together to remind each other of compliance with health protocols.

Creating a health monitoring application, both by the community and by volunteers, is a very important asset to remind each other of health because internal health is the backbone in overcoming the transmission of covid.

I hope this application can boost health improvement as well as reduce the number of confirmed positives, so that we can be more open as expected by the government, namely that we can implement Bali awakening soon." He said, which also marked the official opening of the event.

This event presents 2 (two) speakers, namely:

1. dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked., MPH, Ph.D.

2. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D

The purpose of the activity is to conduct socialization and advocacy to policy makers, experts and parties involved in monitoring health protocol compliance, related to:

1. Health protocol monitoring system that is in accordance with the local situation by using anoMAN (Application for monitoring health programs by the community and volunteers).

2. Technical instructions for using the monitoring system to obtain quality data.

3. Exploration of parties that can be involved and invited to cooperate in conducting surveillance that is appropriate to the local situation.

This activity was also attended by representatives from the Tourism Office, Health Office, BNPB, and related agencies in the Province, Denpasar City Government, Kab. Badung and Gianyar.
