Teleconference with the Director General of Higher Education

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa Sp.B, Sp.OT (K) ) was accompanied by the deputy dean for general and finance (Dr. dr. Anak Agung Wiradewi Lestari S.Ked, Sp.PK) along with The Director of the UNUD Hospital (DR. dr. Dewa Gde Purwa Samatra, Sp. S (K)) and the Head of Medical & Nursing Services at UNUD Hospital (dr. I Wayan Aryabiantara, Sp. An. KIC) accompanied by the Department of Microbiology of the Medical Faculty of Udayana University (Dr. Dr. Ni Nyoman Sri Budayanti Sp.MK (K)) held a Teleconference with the Director General of Higher Education at the Dean's Meeting Room.
This activity was attended by all Deans of the Faculty of Medicine and Director of Teaching Hospitals throughout Indonesia.
On this occasion the Dean of FK Unud submitted several reports to the Director General of Higher Education, namely:
1). FK Unud has formed 3 teams for handling patient services consisting of:
(a). Epidemiology, has made a contract transing with the provincial government of Bali.
(b). Brongkos
(c). Diagnostics, the results are obtained from the Regional Bankes office. The faster the diagnostic results, the faster the classification of the patient.

2. While services for COVID-19 patients are still centralized at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar.

3). The results of the meeting with the Bali provincial government service:
(a). Sanglah Hospital does not have a diagnostic examination tool, which has an RSBM, and the provincial government will shift the tool to Sanglah Hospital (BSL2)
(b). Reagents not available.
(c). PPE shortage problem.
Report of the Director of the Unud Hospital to the Director General of Higher Education:
1). Unud Hospital has 3 ISO rooms. Have treated 3 patients. Consisting of 2 patients under surveillance and 1 patient who did not meet the Covid-19 criteria. The 3 patients are from abroad.
2). Can only treat patients under supervision status.
3). Lab results sent to Jakarta have to wait up to 3 days.
4). Lack of PPE.
The purpose of holding the Teleconference is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia, especially in Bali.
