Following up on the initial meeting between the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) and the Southwest Sumba Regency Health Office, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., accompanied by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., and the UPIKS Coordinator of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., received a visit from the Southwest Sumba Regency Health Office at the Dean's Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (July 24, 2025)
Led by drg. Yulianus Kaleka, Head of the Southwest Sumba Regency Health Office, was accompanied by Planning Analyst Kherubim Vinsentius Rato, SE, and Junior Expert Planner Cornelis Dwiguna Bolo. The meeting discussed preparations for a collaborative placement of independent senior residents with the Southwest Sumba Regency Health Office. This collaboration aims to ensure equitable distribution of specialist healthcare services and optimize healthcare services and synergy between government agencies and educational institutions, which will directly impact public health in Southwest Sumba Regency.
Prof. Januartha welcomed this collaborative program and expressed his readiness to assist the Southwest Sumba Regency Health Office in improving the quality of healthcare services through the independent senior residents in the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program.
The visit continued with a discussion session and concluded with a group photo.
