The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Receives a Visit from Forest Holdings and a Research Team from Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan.
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, welcomed a visit from the Nagasaki Institute of Applied Sciences and Forest Holdings, Inc., the Department of Clinical Engineering, Doi Laboratory, and the Clinical Engineering Research Team from Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan. The visit took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine Building, Denpasar Campus. (July 13, 2026)
The visit was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the visit and provided a brief introduction to the Faculty of Medicine.
Following the opening ceremony, a presentation by Dr. Kazuto Doi was held to provide an overview of the research protocol and exchange views on a national collaborative clinical study in Indonesia involving a new test developed by Dr. Ilazu to Doi from the Nagasaki Institute of Applied Sciences, and to discuss the possibility of clinical evaluation and collaborative research in Indonesia for Japanese medical devices handled by Forest Fieldings, Inc.
The event was also attended by Mr. Tian Yu and Mr. Toshihiro Nakamura. From Udayana University, it was also attended by the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes.; the Coordinator of the Research and Community Service Unit (UP2M) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, S.Ked., Ph.D.; and representatives from each study program.
