Proud news came from the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), which participated in the 5th Annual Meeting of Indonesia Association of Tissue Engineering and Cell Therapy (Rejaselindo). The team consisting of Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Wisnu Wardhana, Sp.BS, Subsp.TB, FINNS, FICS, dr. Cindy Thiovany Soetomo, dr. Agung Bagus Sista Satyarsa, Prof. Dr. Tjokorda Gde Bagus Mahadewa, M.Kes., Sp.BS, Subsp. TB, FICS, FINSS, AIFO-K., and Prof. Dr. dr. Sri Maliawan, Sp.BS, Subsp. N-Ped, FICS won 2nd place in the Best Scientific Paper Competition category.

The presentation discussed the latest breakthroughs in stem cell research for the treatment of chronic spinal cord injury, which shows great potential in the medical world. This success reflects not only high research capabilities, but also a commitment to continue developing innovative solutions in the field of medicine, especially Stem Cells.
