The Nursing Student Association (HMIK) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held the 2026 Seminar on Emergency Reasoning and Action (Saga).

The 2026 Seminar on Emergency Reasoning and Action (Saga) was held online, with all committee members present in person, in Lecture Rooms 3.01 and 3.02, third floor, West Building, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The event began with an opening and remarks by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Ns. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, S.Kep., MNS. In her remarks, she stated that this seminar is expected to enhance students' insight and skills in emergency management and foster a responsive and caring attitude towards the community.

Day 1's series of activities included an emergency seminar featuring competent speakers in their fields, namely:

1. Ns. I Ketut Sudiarta, S.Kep., M.Kep., FISQua, CPCC

2. Ns. I Made Suindrayasa, S.Kep., M.Kep

The seminar proceeded smoothly and was enthusiastically attended by participants. Participants received material related to emergencies, which is expected to provide basic knowledge and skills for dealing with emergency situations.

With the successful completion of the SAGA VNT HMIK 2026 Seminar Day 1, it is hoped that students will be able to improve their competencies, critical thinking skills, and preparedness in providing assistance in emergency situations, especially in the tourism sector.
