The Series of World Oral Health Day 2023 Begins with Dental Education and Examination at Merta Sari Beach, Sanur

In commemoration of World Dental and Oral Health Day which falls on March 20 2023, the Dentistry Student Association (HMKG) Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University is carrying out the 2023 WOHD activity which is expected to be able to distribute and disseminate information about dental and oral health to the wider community which takes place in Mertasari Beach, Sanur. (12/03/2023).

The WOHD 2023 activity this time was divided into several activities, namely a Coloring Contest for Grades 1 - 4 Elementary School (SD) Students, Socialization of Drama Performances, and Free Dental Examination for the surrounding community conducted by the Co-asses of the Dentist Professional Program and Supervised by teaching Dentists.

This activity began with remarks by the Chairperson of the Committee, Head of Belanjong Hamlet, Sanur Kauh Village Service, Head of the Dentistry Student Association, Faculty of Medicine, University of Udayana, Representative of the Student Executive Board, Coordinator of Undergraduate Dentistry Study Program and Dentist Profession, Dr. drg. Putu Lestari Sudirman, M.Biomed., and was officially opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D.

Participating in the 2023 WOHD activity included the Advisor of the Dental Student Association (HMKG) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Chair of World Oral Health Day (WOHD) of Udayana University 2023, and Director of the Oral and Dental Hospital (RSGM) of Udayana University, drg. Putu Ratna Kusumadewi Giri, Sp.KG.
