The Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Receives Benchmarking from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University

The Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD), received a benchmarking visit from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University (FKIK UNWAR), on January 8, 2026, at the Dean's Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Jimbaran Campus. This visit was in preparation for the opening of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University. (08/01/2026)

The benchmarking activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University, Dr. Made Indra Wijaya, MARS, PhD., FISQua.; the Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Operations, Dr. Ni Wayan Winianti, M.Sc., and staff from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University, were welcomed by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Professional Physiotherapy Program, Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes.; the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Ftr. Ari Wibawa, S.St.Ft., M.Fis.; and the teaching staff of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Professional Physiotherapy Program. The presence of the leadership and staff of the FKIK, Warmadewa University, demonstrated the institution's commitment to preparing for the launch of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Program in a planned manner and in accordance with higher education regulations.

The series of activities began with a presentation on the profile of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Professional Physiotherapy Program at FK UNUD, which included an overview of the implementation of physiotherapy education. The curriculum for the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Professional Physiotherapy Program, including the curriculum structure and an overview of the applied learning process, was then presented.

Following the presentation session, the event continued with a campus tour of the laboratories of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Professional Physiotherapy Programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. During this opportunity, benchmarking participants gained a first-hand overview of the laboratory facilities and learning support tools used in the implementation of Undergraduate and Professional Physiotherapy education.

Through this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Nursing, University of Warmadewa, will gain a comprehensive overview of the implementation of physiotherapy education as a reference in preparing for the opening of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Warmadewa.
