The main agenda item was a health education session titled "Community-Based Infectious Disease Prevention Education," delivered by Dr. Ni Luh Putu Ariastuti, MPH. The activity was also attended by 22 students from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University (FK Unair), who are currently participating in the Travel Medicine Elective Study Module at FK Unud. Student involvement provided an opportunity to gain field experience and observe the application of travel medicine concepts within the context of public health at a tourist destination. In addition to educational outreach, the event featured free health services provided by the Travel Medicine Team from the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University (FK Unud) in collaboration with the North Bangli Community Health Center (Puskesmas), targeting Penglipuran villagers ranging from children to the elderly. These services were part of an effort to bring healthcare closer to the community and complemented the educational activities provided. The outreach program concluded with the distribution of basic food packages to the residents.

Through this community service initiative, the FK Unud Travel Medicine Unit emphasizes the importance of health considerations in the development of tourism villages. The synergy between the university, healthcare facilities, and the community is expected to foster the creation of a tourism destination that is healthy and safe for both local residents and tourists.
