Udayana Andrology Update X, "Comprehensive Approach to Increasing Pregnancy Rates in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)"
The Department of Andrology and Sexology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University again held the Udayana Andrology Update X (UAU10) Webinar on Saturday, July 6 2024 with the topic "Comprehensive Approach to Increasing Pregnancy Rates in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)".
This time, UAU presented three speakers, namely:
1. dr. Maitra Djiang Wen, M.Clin.Embryol, Sp.And, Subsp.FER., with the topic "Approaches from the Andrology and Embryology side to increase the success of ART"
2.Dr. Dr. Ida Bagus Kartha, Sp.OG, Subsp.FER., with the topic "Approach from the Ob-Gyn side to increase the success of ART"
3. Dr.I Ketut Widiyasa, MPH, MH, FISQua who discussed current issues regarding Ethics and Professionalism of Doctors in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology.
Head of the Andrology and Sexology Department, FK UNUD and chairman of the committee, dr. IGN Pramesemara, S.Ked, M.Biomed, Sp.And in his report said that a total of 476 colleagues from General Practitioners and Specialist Doctors were present during the webinar. The participants were very enthusiastic about attending because this webinar raised quite an interesting discussion topic, namely how to increase the success of pregnancy programs, especially on Pregnancy Reproductive Technology.
The event was also attended and welcomed by Prof. Dr. Dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, Sp.And, Subsp.SAAM as chairman of the Indonesia Center for AAM (INCAAM) and dr. Nonoatmodjo Tondohusodho, M.Kes, Sp.And, Subsp.FER as coordinator of the Association of Indonesian Andrology Specialist Doctors (PERSANDI) region V Bali and Nusa Tenggara,
Dean of FK UNUD, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes in his speech which also opened the UAU10 event expressed his support and hopes that this UAU activity can continue to be carried out routinely and continuously, and be able to accommodate colleagues regarding science and treatment in the field of Andrology and Sexology, especially in the field of Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology.
