Udayana Medical Faculty Students Receive Travel Grant Awards to Present Scientific Papers in South Korea
I Gede Aswin Parisya Sasmana, a student in the Medical Profession Study Program, and his team successfully submitted three works in the Poster Presentation category at the 45th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society of Nephrology (KSN), held from June 19-22, 2025, with 2,336 participants from 37 countries worldwide.
Aswin, under the guidance of Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes with I Gede Krisna Arim Sadeva (Doctor Profession 22), I Komang Wira Ananta Kusuma (Doctor Profession 23), Anggi Amanda Triana Devy (Doctor Profession 23), Ni Luh Putu Larasati Prabawaning Tyas (Doctor Profession 23), Christo Timothy Mamangdean (Doctor Profession 24), and dr. I Gede Putu Supadmanaba, M.Sc. The work that won the award was an evaluation of the potential of butterfly pea flowers in improving kidney morphology in mice with a high-fat diet.
