Udayana University's Faculty of Medicine and BPJS Kesehatan Hold Guest Lecture on National Health Insurance

The Undergraduate Program in Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, collaborated with the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) on the theme "Gotong Royong, the Main Pillar: Getting to Know Our National Health Insurance" in the Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Building, Jalan P.B. Sudirman, Denpasar.

The event began with remarks by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., M.P.H., Ph.D. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation to the speakers and committee for organizing this important guest lecture, noting that the National Health Insurance (JKN), managed by BPJS Kesehatan, is one of the best public policies that benefits the community.

"The hope is that the guest lecture participants will gain a better understanding of the dynamics, challenges, and practical application of these policies in the field. Furthermore, material related to BPJS Kesehatan and Employment can be integrated into the revised curriculum of various study programs within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in the future, so that graduates are better prepared to face the realities of the working world," said Prof. Ady.

Following the remarks, the event continued with a presentation by the resource person, Ms. Elly Widiani, Head of the Denpasar Branch of BPJS Kesehatan, on a closer look at the National Health Insurance.

The guest lecture was also attended by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Dr. dr. I Ketut Suarjana, S.Ked., M.P.H., and all lecturers and students of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
