Udayana University's Faculty of Medicine Receives a Visit from the Marketing Team of Forest Holdings, Inc., and the Clinical Engineering Research Team from Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University received a visit from the Marketing Team of Forest Holdings, Inc., and the Clinical Engineering Research Team from Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan. The visit took place in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah meeting room. (September 12, 2025)

The visit was received by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the visit and provided a brief introduction to the Faculty of Medicine.

Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with a screening of the Faculty of Medicine profile, followed by a presentation by Makoto Hayashi on medical equipment maintenance for hospitals, while Dr. Kazuto Doi discussed medical engineering. Following the presentations, a discussion session followed, resulting in several agreements for future collaboration plans, including student exchanges, guest lectures in clinical engineering, and other research collaborations.

The event was also attended by representatives from the Marketing Team of Forest Holdings, Inc. and the Clinical Engineering Research Team from Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan, including Dr. Makoto Hayashi, Dr. Kazuto Doi, Mr. Tsubasa Hishinuma, Mr. Yasunori Tokai, Mr. Yuki Matsumoto, Mr. Tetsuya Tsuchida, Mr. Jun Yoshimura, and Mr. Toshihiro Nakamura. Representatives from Udayana University were also present, including the Director of Udayana University Hospital, Prof. Dr. dr. Anak Agung Wiradewi Lestari, S.Ked, Sp.PK(K); the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K); and the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS) of Udayana University, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., Coordinator of the Research and Community Service Unit (UP2M) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, S.Ked., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit (LBT) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, S.Ked., M.Sc., and representatives from the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), Dr. Kadek Eka Swedarma, S.Kep., NS., M.Kes.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photo.
