Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Receives a Visit from the Nursing Division, Ministry of Public Health Thailand

The Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program received a visit from the Nursing Division, Office of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand which took place in the Dean's Conference Room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar on Thursday, June 13 2024. This visit was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M. Kes., who was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program, Dr. NS. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, MNS., along with Academic Coordinator, Ns. Ni Komang Ari Sawitri, S.Kep., M.Sc., Ph.D.

The purpose of this visit is to exchange knowledge, experience regarding health and nursing system management, education, regulations, practice standards and services; discussing the direction of WHO's global strategy for strengthening nursing in Indonesia, Thailand and ASEAN; as well as discussing further collaboration regarding sustainable nursing development in aspects of the multicultural dimension. In his speech, Prof. Januartha expressed his gratitude for visiting the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and for being very supportive of educational and research collaboration to strengthen nursing in Indonesia, Thailand and ASEAN.

The event continued with presentations from Armarapas Atthachaiwat as Director of Nursing Division, and Uraiporn Janta-um-mou as Deputy Director of Nursing Division, Office of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand regarding health and nursing system management, education, regulations, standards Nursing practice and services in Thailand. Meanwhile, from FK Unud, the presentation of the profile of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program was presented by the Academic Coordinator, Ns. Ni Komang Ari Sawitri, S.Kep., M.Sc., Ph.D. After the presentation session, the event continued with a discussion session and closed with a group photo session.
