Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program and Physiotherapy Profession, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Holds Guest Lecture on the Role of Physiotherapy in Renal, Sports, and Geriatric Conditions

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University through the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program and Physiotherapy Profession held a Guest Lecture Physiotherapy Udayana University 2024, with the theme "The Role of Physiotherapy in the Renal, Sports, and Geriatric Conditions" which took place in the dr. A A Made Djelantik Room, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Denpasar. (27/9/2024)

Presenting three competent speakers in their fields, namely:

1. Dr. Shunsuke Ohji with the theme “Performance Enhancement for Return to Sports after Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction"

2. Dr. Masakazu Saitoh with the theme “Renal Rehabilitation”

3. Dr. Ryuichi Sawa with the theme “Japan as Super-agedd Society and PT’s Role in the Community"

Moderated by Sayu Aryantari Putri Thanaya, S.Ft., Ftr., M.Sc.

The event began with remarks from the Chairperson of the Committee I Putu Gde Surya Adhitya, S.Ft., M.Fis., Ph.D., remarks from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession Study Program Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes., and continued with remarks and opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). In his speech, he said that guest lectures are very important to be held and beneficial for physiotherapy students to increase their knowledge, especially the role of physiotherapy in kidney conditions, sports, and geriatrics.

This guest lecture was also attended by the Coordinator of the Development, Learning, and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D., Head of the Physiotherapy Department Ftr. Ari Wibawa, S.St.Ft., M.Fis., lecturers and students of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession Study Program, FK Unud.
