Students of the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Study Program and Physiotherapy Profession, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) succeeded in making the institution proud in the 2024 FISIOCUP event organized by the Indonesian Physiotherapy Student Association (IMFI) Region 4 (December 21, 2024).

The poster entitled: Hempas Parkinson with SANTAI, was successfully presented by a team consisting of Marisa Galuh Dwi Cahyani, Ni Made Risma Mutia Maharani, and Jecklin Ruth Nussy with the guidance of Ni Komang Ayu Juni Antari, S.Ft., Ftr., M.Fis. Briefly about FISIOCUP 2024, this event was officially inaugurated starting November 15, 2024 and it has been determined that the results of the competition will be announced on December 21, 2024 through a virtual meeting using the Zoom platform which is also combined with a national webinar event.

This is one of the strategic programs of the Management Institute of the Faculty of Sports Sciences (IMFI) Region IV that aims to harness the potential and desire of students majoring in physiotherapy, while enhancing their creative abilities and spreading awareness about the importance of physiotherapy in the general health system.

In the series of events, there were three types of competitions contested by participants, namely Poster Competition, Educational Video, and E-Sports. This year, the main focus was to explain and discuss the latest topics on neurological balance, which is very relevant because the field of physiotherapy often involves aspects of neurology in the healing or rehabilitation process of patients. Thus, this event is not only an entertainment event but also a platform for education and promotion of medical science for young people and the wider community.
