Unud Medical Faculty Students Win 4 Awards in the 2024 ISMKI Region IV Outstanding Student Selection

Proud news came from the 2022 batch of Udayana University Faculty of Medicine students who participated in the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) Region IV Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres). This achievement was achieved by I Komang Chandra Yogananda or familiarly called Yochan, who won 1st place and Ni Putu Rista Pradnya Dewi, who won 3rd place. In addition to winning 1st place, Yochan also won the Best Paper Category and Best Presentation Category Awards. The proud achievements achieved by Yochan and Rista in this prestigious event cannot be separated from the role of the supervising lecturer, Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes, who always guided and provided various inputs to them during the series of selection processes.

This outstanding student selection activity consists of a preliminary round which includes file selection and interviews. After that, the top 8 participants with the highest scores in the preliminary round will take part in the final round which includes presentations of scientific papers and case studies. This activity will take place online on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Covering participants from various universities from East Java to Eastern Indonesia.

Pilmapres ISMKI is an event used as a means of appreciation for the achievements of extraordinary students in all Faculties of Medicine in Indonesia. This activity is also expected to be a means to motivate all students to achieve achievements and make their alma mater proud.
