Visit FK Unud, FK Unmas Discusses the Development Plan of Medical Education Support Laboratory

In connection with the construction of an educational support laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine of Mahasaraswati University (FK Unmas), the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud), Prof. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes received a team from FK Unmas at the Dean's Conference Room, FK Unud Building Denpasar. Led by the Vice Rector for Finance and Resources of Mahasaraswati University, Dr. Nengah Landra, S.E., M.M., the arrival of the team from Unmas was to conduct a visit and discussion related to governance and rules in the construction of laboratories to support the educational process at FK Unmas. In this meeting, Prof. Januartha expressed his appreciation to FK Unmas which has made efforts to complete the laboratory infrastructure to support the education process. Prof. Januartha also conveyed several things that need to be addressed in the laboratory construction plan.

"In the construction and management of laboratories, one that needs to be given special attention is waste treatment, the use of chemicals and air circulation arrangements, especially in anatomy laboratories." he said.

After the discussion about the technicalities in the construction and management of laboratories delivered by the heads of laboratories of FK Unud, the event continued with a visit to see the infrastructure owned by laboratories in FK Unud. In this visit, the team from Unmas who attended included Vice Chairman of Mahasaraswati Foundation, Prof. Dr. dr. A.A. Ngurah Subawa, M.Si., Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Cooperation, Dr. I Komang Budiarta, S.Pd., M.Hum., M.Pd., and Unmas Laboratory Planning Team. While from FK Unud, accompanying the visit were the Head of Department of Anatomy, Head of Department of Histology, Head of Department of Faal Science, Head of Department of Biochemistry, Head of Department of Parasitology, and Head of Department of Pharmacology and Therapy.
