Webinar "Travel and Eye: What We Should Know about"

The Eye Health Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a webinar entitled "Travel and Eye: What We Should Know about" which was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University, Dr.dr. I Komang Januarta Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. This activity is one of the flagship programs of the Eye Health Sciences Study Program in the field of Ocular Travel Medicine. On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud expressed his appreciation to the Eye Study Program which has carried out this international webinar because this activity is also in line with the vision of FK UNUD to produce excellent, independent and cultured graduates who are able to compete regionally, nationally and internationally. This activity is also the mission of FK UNUD in its flagship program, Travel Medicine. In addition, this Travel Medicine program is only available at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

The purpose of this online seminar is for more health practitioners to be more concerned and have more knowledge about travel health. This is also supported where Bali is still a favorite travel destination for both domestic and international travellers, especially with the opening of international flights to and from Bali. This webinar is also very special because it invites many speakers who are experts in their fields and also collaborate with the Hawaiian Eye Foundation. The resource persons at this event, namely dr. Allen Eghrari, MD from the United States, dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D. and dr. Harry Wicaksana, Sp. KP. who works in the field of Travel Medicine, as well as ophthalmologists who discuss various fields of eye health related to travel, such as dr. IGA Made Juliari, SpM(K), Dr. dr. Ariesanti Tri Handayani, Sp.M(K), dr. Ni Made Laksmi Utari, M. Biomed, Sp.M(K), and dr. Ida Ayu Ary Pramita, M. Biomed, Sp.M. Webinars are also intended for general practitioners, residents, and ophthalmologists throughout Indonesia.
