Websharing "Applications of Hypnotherapy in Medical Practice"

Friday, October 9, 2020, an online websharing seminar "Applications of Hypnotherapy in Medical Practice" was held which was organized by the Center for Public Services and Health Studies, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in collaboration with the Indonesian Clinical Hypnotherapy Association (AHKI). Mr. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B, Sp.OT(K) was present to open this event, after previously delivered remarks by the Head of the Center for Public Service Studies and Health Studies; Dr.dr. I Putu Adiartha Griadhi, M. Fisor, AIFO. The speakers in this event are: 1) Dr.dr. Cokorda Bagus Jaya Lesmana, SpKJ who spoke about "Hypnotherapy in Medical Practice", 2) Dr.dr. I Putu Adiartha Griadhi, M. Fisor, AIFO, who spoke about “Neuroplasticity as a Physiological Adaptation to Hypnotherapy, 3) Dr.Dr. Adi W. Gunawan, ST, MPd, CCH, who spoke about "Clinical Hypnotherapy: Alternative Solutions in Psychotherapy", 4) dr. I Wayan Losen Adnyana, SpPD-KHOM, FINASIM, who spoke about “Integrative Therapy in Cancer Patients”. With moderator dr. I Gusti Ngurah Eka Santosa, Cht. This online seminar, which was attended by around 467 people via online zoom and live YouTube media, came from various regions in Indonesia who are interested in hypnotherapy, including doctors, dentists, psychiatrists and various specialists, including psychologists, physiotherapists, and other professions related. This event aims to not only introduce further about hypnotherapy and its clinical applications in the medical world, as a form of education during the pandemic, as well as provide an opportunity to open up avenues for collaboration between institutions, with the Faculty of Medicine, through the Center for Public Services and Health Studies.
