Workshop on Implementing Excellent Travel Health in the Curriculum of the FK Unud Study Program

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) through the Travel Medicine Unit held a Workshop on Implementing Excellent Travel Health as a basis for preparing the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) and Study Program Curriculum which took place in the Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (04/17/2025)

This workshop aims to align perceptions regarding the excellent programs at FK Unud and discuss their implementation in the curriculum in study programs. The event began with remarks from the chairman of the committee who is also the Head of the Travel Medicine Unit, Dr. dr. Made Agus Hendrayana, M.Ked, followed by remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the speakers who had taken the time to share their knowledge and hoped that after this workshop, the strategic plan and curriculum documents in the study program could be aligned with the excellent Travel Health program, thus facilitating the accreditation process.

This workshop invited four speakers, namely:

1. Dr. dr. Made Agus Hendrayana, M.Ked., with the material on Excellent Travel Health at FK Unud

2. dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D., with the material on Implementation of Excellent Travel Health in Study Program Accreditation

3. dr. I Gusti Ayu Made Juliari, Sp.M(K) with material on Implementation of Excellent Travel Health in the Eye Health Science Specialist Study Program

4. Govinda Vittala, ftr., M.Fis., with material on Implementation of Excellent Travel Health in the Physiotherapy S1 Study Program

This event was also attended by the Coordinators of Undergraduate Study Programs, Coordinators of Professional Study Programs, Coordinators of Specialist Study Programs, Coordinators of Units and lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
