World Oral Health Day 2024

Every year, on March 20, World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated, which aims to empower people with the knowledge and confidence to maintain healthy teeth and mouth.

On this occasion, HMKG FK Unud again participated in celebrating WOHD 2024 by carrying out various activities related to dental and oral health on March 17 2024 at SD 4 Pecatu. This activity was opened directly by the Dean of FK Unud; Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and also attended by the PSSKGPDG Coordinator represented by the HMKG Trustees; Drg. Urged Nyoman Ari Susanti, M.Kes., Chair of BEM FK Unud; Bonifasius Alvianto Satria Pamungkas, Chairman of HMKG; Luh Devany Natania Putri Wikarsa, Coordinator of Dentistry at Udayana University, as well as the committee from PSSKGPDG FK Unud.

The series of activities carried out included morning exercise together, ice breaking, socialization on how to brush teeth, practice brushing teeth, free dental check-ups by the Udayana University Dentistry Coass, educational drama performances, mini quizzes, awarding sessions, and closed with a memory finger and distribution of gifts. .

Hopefully, by holding this activity, students will be able to increase their awareness of the importance of dental and oral health so that dental and oral hygiene continues to be maintained properly.
