Continuing Medical Education (PKB) VIII Orthopaedics & Traumatology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

With full academic enthusiasm and commitment to the development of medical science, the Orthopaedics & Traumatology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held Continuing Medical Education (PKB) VIII with the theme "Current Updates in Orthopaedic Diagnosis and Management" at the Bali Sunset Road Convention Center (9/3/2025).

PKB VII was held with the aim of updating clinical insight and skills in facing various medical challenges in the field of orthopaedics and traumatology for students (residents) and specialist doctors.

This event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). In his remarks, dr. Eka conveyed the importance of continuous learning for medical personnel in facing the increasingly rapid development of medical science. He also appreciated the study program's initiative in organizing this event as a form of commitment to improving the quality of medical services and medical education in Indonesia.

Continuing Medical Education (PKB) VIII presents six competent speakers, namely:

1. Prof. Dr. dr. Putu Astawa, Sp.OT., M.Kes with the material Initial Management of Musculo Skeletal Trauma.

2. Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp OT (K) with the material Orthopaedic Perspective in SCI: Brinding Acute Treatment and Long-Term Recovery

3. Dr. Stedy Adnyana Christian, Sp. OT. with the material Current Update Management of Shoulder Pain and Stiffness

4. dr. Nyoman Gede Bimantara, Sp. OT (K) with the material Diagnosing Musculoskeletal Tumors Current Strategies in Early Detection and Management

5. dr. Made Agus Maharjana, Sp.OT(K) with material Limping Gait in Pediatrics From Diagnosis to Treatment

6. Dr. dr. Cokorda Gde Oka Darmayuda, Sp.OT(K) with material Pelvis Trauma Saving Livies Restoring Function
